Luxe for 8 — behind the dunes, at Noordzee Résidence Dishoek
A detached 110m² villa just behind the dunes, a short walk from the beach. The house sits at the edge of Noordzee Résidence Dishoek, a small-scale holiday park of detached homes and a handful of apartments bordering the dunes and surrounded by nature, with restaurants and terraces within walking distance right next to the park. Downstairs there's an open living and dining area with underfloor heating, a gas fireplace for cosy evenings (especially in winter), and a smart TV, plus a kitchen with a dishwasher, combi-microwave and Nespresso machine. Two master bedrooms with their own bathroom sit on the first floor; two further, smaller bedrooms share a bathroom on the second. Outside there's a private garden with a lounge set and space for two cars, and the house comes with a washer, dryer, safe and free wifi throughout.
Pet-free and smoke-free house — a good fit for allergy sufferers.

Zeeland has proper beach weather from May to September, though many guests prefer June and September: still warm enough to swim, with quieter beaches and no need to book a table in advance. The dunes and beach cafés are worth a visit even out of season — think brisk walks, a book or a family game by the fireplace in the evening, and a much quieter Dishoek.
A typical weekend starts with settling in on Friday evening and a short walk down to the beach or into the dunes. Saturday is often a day trip to one of the historic towns nearby, followed by dinner back in Dishoek itself, on the square or right on the beach.
Sunday is for a slow morning, a day on the beach, or another activity together — cycling through the dunes, a walk along the coast, or a board game if the weather turns. Check-out is Monday morning, so you can either head home Sunday evening or spend one more night and set off Monday straight to work or your next stop.
Middelburg, Zeeland's historic capital, is about 15 minutes (10km) away; Domburg, with its wide beach and boutiques, about 20 minutes (13km); and the fortified harbour town of Veere about 25 minutes (20km) — each an easy half-day trip from the house.
